Meine Frau leidet an ME/CFS. Ende 23 einmal an COVID erkrankt und das war's. Sie kann das Haus quasi nicht mehr verlassen, aber halbtags im Homeoffice arbeiten.
Das wird mit der Abschaffung der telefonischen Krankschreibung und der AU-Pflicht ab Tag 1 nicht mehr gehen, weil sie schlicht die Praxis nicht jedesmal aufsuchen kann.
Unsere Bundesregierung zerstört Leben, und meine Frau ist kein Einzelfall. Was ich sonst noch zu #Merz zu sagen hätte, wäre justiziabel, deswegen lasse ich das lieber.

Das ist bei Ereignissen, bei denen die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer Frequenz korreliert (zum Beispiel Überschwemmungen), anders.

Bias spielt sicher eine Rolle; der Punkt ist vor allem, dass die beiden kritischen Merkmale bei Migranten überrepräsentiert sind (junge Männer fliehen häufiger, und haben bessere Chancen, zu überleben). Und das macht sich Merz zunutze, um auf die falsche Gruppe draufzuhauen.

@lovinurbanism@mastodon.social Der Migrationshintergrund ist nur insofern relevant, als gerade bei Geflüchteten die besonders auffällige Gruppe der jungen Männer überrepräsentiert ist. Das Problem hat aber nur etwas mit den Attributen a) männlich und b) jung zu tun. Merz weiß das ganz genau, und nutzt diese statistischen Zusammenhänge gezielt aus, um rassistische Ressentiments zu bedienen. Widerlich.

Die Tabellen sind riesig, da alle Verbrechen einzeln gelistet werden, aber Erwachsene zwischen 21-24 (und auch noch 25-30) sind dreimal so häufig tatverdächtug wie 30-40jährige, 4 bis 5mal so häufig wie 40-50jährige etc.
Bei den Verurteilungen finden sich dieselben Verhältnisse.

@danslimmon While spammers are stupid, they also use a trick to reverse spam-filter their targets: If you—as a human reader—can identify their writing as spam, when their writing is easily recognisable as spam, they don't want you as a "customer", as you are not going to go through with what they're proposing anyway.
So they are filtering their target audience by adding enough typos etc.

@JanaBallweber@mastodon.social Ich finde Misogynie und Gewalt gegen Frauen DAS Thema, nicht nur, weil Sexismus die gateway drug zu allen anderen -ismen ist.
Das Problem, das nach meinem Dafürhalten bei vielen dazu führt, dass sie sich nicht äußern, ist, dass Sexismus für Männer kaum spürbar ist und deswegen ausgeblendet wird. Natürlich wird dabei von Anfang an mit Us vs. Them gearbeitet, aber das ignorieren viele gern, wenn sie auf der privilegierten Seite stehen.
