Has anyone ever woken up in burnout?
Yesterday was a completely normal day. I made breakfast, relaxed, tidied up, baked some pretzels, played games, went out for dinner and trivia and socialized. Home at normal time, decent night's sleep.
This morning as I sat eating breakfast, I could tell my mana was low. Allergies are beating me up a bit. Had to put in earplugs while my wife was in a video meeting. I took some OTC meds and laid back down.
On getting up, I can tell this is going to be a no-bones day. As I am explaining this to my wife, I burst into tears.
I have no idea what, if anything, led to this, but I do not approve. Burnout should at least have a proximate cause I can point to! 😭
So yeah. Gonna be a "lights low, ANC ear protection, eat leftovers" day.

** I would have preferred naturally big, but accept that I needed to go store bought. At almost*** 60, the perkiness of implants don't look quite right****.
*** I'll be 59 calendar years old this year, despite feeling 40 and being in my 5th year of second puberty.
