heads up for #orgmode users:

you will run into trouble if you run a command like "ssh user@ip echo hello" in a src block with a :session.

ssh will eat stdin until it exits, which means all subsequent commands will be sent to ssh. among them is the command that tells orgmode that the code block has finished executing, so it will block indefinitely.

this can also happen if the ssh command is in a script that is called in a code block.

quick tip to custom #android ROM users: if you have trouble with your mobile data, try opening your settings and search for "access point name". try choosing different values there, some seem to work better than others and it's a good chance it chose a worse one by default.

Det jag känt av mest av att börja jobba är att all tid försvann. "8 timmars fritid" heter det, men i realiteten är väl närmare 4 om man räknar bort pendling och matlagning. Och jag har ändå ganska schyssta arbetsvillkor.

Question to #SmallWeb folks: What are some tools that make it easier to write and maintain a static website without going through an intermediary format like Markdown?

I want to keep my site as simple as possible, so I'd rather lug around HTML files than markdown files that get converted into a lot of HTML files.

https://soupault.app/ is a good example of what I'm looking for, but I want more options.
