My view earlier today.
Not pictured: the red squirrel Mrs Fieldhaven and I saw in Horse Jennings Wood (because it was too quick to get a picture of) a couple of hours later.

Vaguely thinking I should put some kind of "AI stance" page on my website.
Problem is, I'm not entirely sure whether I can write such a thing without it essentially being a series of brief statements punctuated by increasingly profane rants.

So today is the 55th birthday of the 555 timer IC.
By pure coincidence, Mrs Fieldhaven and I happened to be travelling along the A555 Manchester Airport Link Road on the way to Alderley Edge today!

My static site generator seems to be fully operational now - no doubt I'll need to tweak things, but my main site https://starforge.co.uk/ is being generated by it!
No particularly new content right now, but I'm sure I'll get there... first I should write a readme for Homer, to remind me how to use it properly (and anyone else if they're crazy enough to try it)!

So my static site generator is largely done* except for RSS feed generation. And now I have a quandary about the RSS. Specifically, the element for each in the feed.
I could make the RSS use the opengraph description if one is set, and fall back on a short excerpt of the page if not set, or I could just include the full page HTML in each .
I would appreciate Opinions!

Homer - my static site generator - can now generate individual pages, and handles a bunch of extra features like footnotes, picture captions, table of contents generation, improved image control, opengraph shenanigans and more.
Now I need to make it process all the source markdown files, copy over assets and framework files, and generate RSS feeds and I'll be back to where I was before!

Making decent puzzles in 3D is surprisingly tricky.
To be fair, making decent puzzles in 2D is tricky too. But 3D literally adds another dimension to it.
