@geerlingguy@mastodon.social Some advice would be helpful (maybe an expanded video?) for those of us who bought into the Bambu ecosystem during its heyday and intended it to be THE ONE 3D printer we were going to own for the foreseeable future.
My guess: Turn on LAN mode and use a 3rd-party slicer?

EDIT: Everyone online says the SAS/SATA sleds for the G5s and Xeon Xserves are identical? If so, that's what I got.

Working in tech is frequently exhausting. Late hours doing maintenance work when you should be relaxing, enjoying yourself, or focusing on personal matters. The bodily-trauma reaction of getting a text message on a weekend from someone at your workplace. And now, everything A.I.
I can and have handled a LOT in my decades working in IT, but today is a day I just want to cry. I'm genuinely afraid for our technology and infrastructure future.
Hopefully you other geeks can understand. That's all.

@DosFox My original point was more that CHRP was designed for non-Apple PPC machines (though there were not many of those). I'm not sure if anyone has managed to track down an IBM CHRP machine since Steve unearthed the CHRP install CDs to make that magical connection.
But it's a moot point since it's doubtful the enabler will work as well with newer versions of Mac OS (compared with how startlingly well it has worked with the older ones). But who knows?

EDIT: Nah, my bad. The CHRP versions cap out at 8.0, so the gap is still there.
