Ah, it almost feels like coming home.
After several failed attempts I finally got Star Wars Galaxies #SWG running on #Fedora via Wine.
The game is emulated now via various fan organizations. Been trying Restorations’s server #SWGR and just loving it so far.
Released in 2003, the servers shut down in 2011. It had a rollercoaster history thanks to incompetence by Sony and John Smedley.
But still, This TWENTY year old game is the best mmorpg out there.
They don’t make games like this anymore..
