You can’t get it any more wrong than ABC News who posted a story about #Ukraine attacks on “holiday camps” on the occupied territories illustrated by a photo from Ukrainian DSNS rescue operation after #Russia attack on Kyiv 🤮 The story is also bullshit, sources by local collaborationist Balitsky, while in reality all these camps were long taken over for residences by FSB and military.

When I saw LGBT people on Hamas parades, wearing their green jihadi bandanas along with LGBT symbols in Europe and London I was seriously wondering “are they suicidal?” Haven’t they seen gay people dropped to death from buildings in Gaza and hanged from cranes in Iran? Or they just pretended it’s all “traitors” as Hamas excuses it? The tragedy in Berlin is terrible and I very much hope some people will now see for real what kind of ideology they had been, directly or indirectly, fostering. If...

What you can find on #Russia Ministry of Justice - a movie “Hitler-Liberator”, presented with zero context, simply advertising the heroic figure of Adolf Hitler as “liberator from Bolshevism”. It’s not a fake, you can just head to https://minjust.gov.ru/static/exhibition/filmography/gitler-osvoboditel.html

A sad lesson from a few years of operating local #DNS resolvers in my infrastructure - #DNSSEC validation requires enormous resources to work reliably due to vast extra records it needs to pull from DNS for each validation and required computing power. Forget about DNSSEC validation in systemd-resolved, dnsmasq or unbound on home routers, it will just cause periodic and apparently unexplained delays and choke overall DNS resolution. On firewalls like #OPNsense it also would work only server-cl...

Another discussion where someone cites the rise of alt-right in Europe… AfD: 30% FPÖ: 30% LePen: 30% Reform UK: 25-30% …only to summarise it with a convenient argument that “at least 30-40 percent of any given population is fucked in the head”. It’s extremely simplistic and ignorant excuse. There are specific social reasons why AfD etc rise in polls. Merkel’s “Wir schaffen das” was one of them, the European left abandoning their usual voter base - local working people - for niche minority...

Panika. No więc nie. Wpływ tych środków na klimat - poza virtue signalling - będzie absolutnie dokładnie zerowy, ponieważ 80% emisji to Chiny, USA itd....

An advert for a 24 July drone technology exhibition in the Kyiv Oblast, posted on #Ukraine social media – the very same event which, to no one’s surprise, was targeted by two Iskander-M missiles, killing 10 people and injuring over 100. OPSEC at ‘moron ultimate’ level.

Speaking of salmonella, measles, cyclospora and other stuff returning to the US on #MAGA policies, we should keep in mind their ideology is at core Darwinian. For them it’s not policy mistake return to “normal” - “survival of the fittest”, “dog eat dog”, “greed is good” etc There’s an obvious contradiction here - “survival of the fittest, but not for my precious kids”. In these circles this has been solved by simple hypocrisy - say one, then secretly vaccinate them. Condemn abortion, but “it’s...

For those who have doubts about #Ukraine hits on #Russia logistical hubs like #Wildberries, here’s a proud summary posted by Russian media where they boast about how “since start of 2026 we hit over 20 hubs of Nova Poshta”. Now Ukraine joined the game and they whine. Formally, both are commercial companies shipping civilian goods but since vast amount of military equipment goes through volunteer channels, they obviously ship that too - for example drones. And that’s precisely how Russian MOD ju...

#Ukraine former head of UPA support NGO and then head of Institute of National Remembrance Vyatrovych is doing rounds in media telling every how “Poland became like Russia to us”. The dumb nationalist fucker says that right in the middle of the war where Polish state and society relentlessly supports Ukraine’s defence effort. How do you think, what he’s counting on? Because if Poland is “like Russia”, he should call for closure of the border on their side, right? And he says that a day before...

I have a few firewalls and servers which expose USB console - usually MiniUSB port on the device and the other end goes to laptop, so USB host (?). Is there a simple device that could multiplex them all, so that I can connect over SSH and just monitor the serial I need? I use NanoKVM but it does the full video and I think one serial (?). On the other hand, I’m thinking if I had a RapsberryPi there which has four USB host ports I could just connect each serial to one and then simply select them...

As I have written many times, it has long been quite obvious that #Trump and #MAGA are genuinely fascinated by #Putin’s ‘decisiveness’. The main problem is that Putin very deliberately makes strategic mistakes, simply because he can. The second problem – for Trump – is that Putin spent 20 years building his system, dismantling the courts, the free media, parliamentary democracy and the federal structure of the Russian Federation – whereas Trump would like to achieve all this in just a few ye...

I don’t get the idea of the #EV “pay per mile” tax being proposed in the UK. The rationale is that EV drivers won’t pay the fuel tax duty, because they don’t buy fuel. But EV don’t run on pranic energy, they run on electricity which is… already heavily taxed, just like fuel. https://www.dicklovett.co.uk/electric/guides/new-pay-per-mile-ev-car-tax-how-will-drivers-really-be-impacted

Essence of the #Zelensky #Fedorov conflict in #Ukraine as captured by #Poland military analytic Marcin Ogdowski: Reports of the destruction of Russian rear bases, the stalemate on the front line, Kyiv’s diplomatic offensive (…) is like a cocoon, creating the illusion of victory, giving the impression that the worst is already behind us, that Russia is on its knees, and that the war will end any moment now. All we need to do is hold out for a few more months and deal the Russians a few more pain...

#Ukraine Budanov[^1] about relations with #Poland Budanov had warned publicly that the standoff’s worst moment might still be ahead — a forecast he repeated without softening. With the July 11 anniversary of the Volyn tragedy now less than a week away, he said his information points to a “whole series of, as I see it, immature escalatory steps” still being prepared in Warsaw, and expects the friction to continue accordingly. (…) No offense to Poland, but it’s somewhat more powerful than Poland...

Once again, there’s lots of “rational” arguments being raised on “why #Putin would attack Europe”, especially that he’s stuck in #Ukraine hopelessly. They key misunderstanding is that Putin does not think in terms of the rational interests of the Russian state – if that were the case, he would not have annexed Crimea, let alone started a full-scale war, but would simply have been quietly counting the money from the sale of hydrocarbons. Putin thinks solely within the framework of a world of p...

From my days of travelling to the Russian #Caucasus, I’ve got quite a few friends there – one of them is a highlander and he’s fine, whilst the other used to work for RIA (Russian state news agency). So I ask the other one, who spends most of his time in the lowlands, whether Telegram works there without a VPN. And here I get thi...

As with previous such sieges, in #Konstantinivka right now we’re facing a classic #Russia #Ukraine there and back “we took it, no you didn’t”. Russians always declare capture of towns or villages “on credit”, that is long before they actually control it, which often leads to ridiculing themselves, as it was with #Kupyansk and #MalaTokmachka. But military experts have long predicted that Konstantinivka will fall, because Russians concentrated all their forces there and Ukraine abandoned the ol...

The disinformation campaign against the #Katyn massacre appears to be part of a wider Russian effort to rewrite history. Circassian émigré organisations have published an open letter protesting against a film broadcast on state media which distorts the history of the conquest of the #Caucasus in the 19th century – as a reminder, the Russian military campaign lasted almost half a century and resulted in the extermination of 95% of the region’s indigenous population. Most were massacred, whils...
