Hey, if anyone ever worried about the safe zones of a Mastodon banner image, I got you covered. Pink areas are obscured by the mobile website, blue are obscured by the desktop website. Oh beans, it's a Neobot update! I added a bunch of folks' neobots, made a few new ones, converted the animated ones to GIF because Mastodon is hot garbage, and moved it all off GitHub because fuck those guys. New repository! Full release! Only this update! (all changes since Feb 2025) This is likely the last release of this set, since I don't really make emoji any more and it's almost 500 little robo-faces without neobot_code.

This one isn't making it into the blog post. When I first joined Mastodon, I was paralyzed by this idea that I was crossing a boundary if I expressed sympathy to someone I wasn't super close to. And it's weird to look back on that now, because I can't really imagine that stopping me any more. And I think the friends I've made here, and the community I've found, are why.
