We are finally back on food assistance and have a stable grocery situation again, and for the moment selling my blood plasma only has to cover bills and the occasional non-food groceries. However, I'm going to Defcon at the start of next month, and while I've been able cover my flight and badge in various ways, I'm gonna have to eat that week and I'm probably going to leave our SNAP card at home for my wife and kid to use that week.
