  FOR FUCKS SAKE! Stop this nonsense of reimplementing file-open dialogs in your software and use the ones provided by the OS! Those have the bookmarked folders, respect my system’s theme and font-size and are generally far more advanced because they are a major component in a file-browser, but only a minor thing in whatever you are most likely writing!

  Okay, it looks like I will actually get that job offer in Luxemburg and they were willing to increase the gross starting salary (I hinted at 15K more, they now offered 5K more, indicating that what I indicated was definitely outside the budget, which I guess is fair, there was definitely a negotiation buffer in there).
