Okay, so @Moire@mastodon.social felt the need to respond and the block me so, that I couldn’t directly respond to said post. Well, here it is:Oh really? You want to compare Israel in 2026 to Nazi-Germany that in 1944 had invaded Poland (1939), Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France (1940), as well as Yugoslavia, Greece, and the Soviet Union (1941) with millions of dead people, gased jews and endless massacres? Dumb, stupid antisemite!And this is what was meant to be my response: The only Jew-hater here are you, I didn’t mention Jews with a single word in my post. Yet here you are, assigning the crimes of the state of Israel to all Jews, by suggesting that an opposition to a genocide is the same as hatred of Jews, which clearly implies that you believe that genocide is an inherent trait of Jews, an opinion so false, disgusting, and slanderous that it outright competes with the worst writings of Julius Streicher who was rightfully sentenced to death and executed in the Nürnberg trials. And yes, Israel is basically doing the same today that Germany did back then: Running an anti-semitic genocide (Palestinians are Semites!) that involved the systematic murder of a significant portion of a people, completely inhumane treatments of prisoners, expansive wars into neighboring countries, unprovoked wars of aggression, a complete dismantling of their own legal state and being one of the biggest spreader of anti-Jewish hatred by blaming Jews for their crimes. At least they aren’t preventing Jews and non-Jews from marrying, like Nazi Germany did… Oh… wait… So yes, that state is an abomination, built on ethnic cleansing and needs to receive the same treatment as nazi Germany, and the leadership needs to be punished severely. But hey, like most rogue states it of course doesn’t recognize the ICC, because nothing has ever screamed “innocent” like not recognizing the ICC… For transparency, I’ve reported your post as follows:antisemitism: Equation of Israel with Jews, blaming Jews as a group for the genocidal crimes of a nation state.Well, when I hit post, Sharkey didn’t accept it, talking about an invisible post, so I had to look on their profile to see what was going on and found a now deleted post, in which they called my post “Shoa relativization” and called others to dogpile on it and report it. Now, I know that my server admin is a lovely person, who is not fond of the anti-Jewish conspiracy theory that condemnations of Israel are talking about Jews, and she has muted mastodon.social, but it might still be appropriate to report that account and some of the others that have clearly followed (that I will quote and list in response to this (no, I will not let you hide your disgusting ideology by deleting your posts!).
