Okay, it looks like I will actually get that job offer in Luxemburg and they were willing to increase the gross starting salary (I hinted at 15K more, they now offered 5K more, indicating that what I indicated was definitely outside the budget, which I guess is fair, there was definitely a negotiation buffer in there). Technically they have not made an offer yet, but they might do so today and I was explicitly their number 1 candidate…
