@WataruTenkawa_1 for me, travel gives a sense of freedom I need to make any experience truly great. Travel also leads to great food and drink. Travel has been necessary the times I fell deeply in love, and those led to great sex. This way three other great experiences add to the greatness of travel! It's possible career success and becoming a parent are greater still, but I wouldn't know.

@WataruTenkawa_1 the best experience in my life was playing with a top notch youth symphony as a teenager. It was a combination of seeing the music come together and the visceral sensation of being surrounded by the music.

@WataruTenkawa_1 Doing mushrooms once. The other thing that came to mind is playing videogames, but that's more of an ongoing form of great experiences. And so are reading books.

@WataruTenkawa_1 I think it changes all through life. While they're small, having children is probably the hardest thing I've ever done. A few years later, I can see how I might someday think of it as the greatest.

@WataruTenkawa_1 That moment when you’ve parried, countered, or voided the incoming blade, in such a way that your touch is inevitable, as the universe hold still for it. Can also happen with the ocean, the mountain, and/or the stars.

@WataruTenkawa_1 OTHER: as in there has been no single thing that has been the greatest experience in life. So many things on the list apply and things like "the inordinate amount of luck" required to find your soul mate (who happened to be half a world away), to find a "home" in a new town where friends are worthy of such titles, to live in a locale that satisfies virtually all the requirements for a healthy, happy life have been overlooked.

@WataruTenkawa_1 Reading my first book on my own. Technically I guess it's "travel to far off places". Physically is when I finished a bicycle tour from Mobile Bay to Niagara Falls.
