    Sky News have calculated that Reform are doing 5% worse across England than they were in the local elections this time last year. Might be a useful way to offset the ludicrous hyperbole that is getting pumped out.

    The colleague who I&amp;#39;ve worked with the longest - since 2013 - retired today. Although she&amp;#39;s not been at work for several months because of health issues, and I completely expected that she wouldn&amp;#39;t be returning. Still, that&amp;#39;s quite a long time.

    Morning everyone. I didn&amp;#39;t really sleep enough but I slept some. When I have finished my tea, I&amp;#39;ll head down to the river and go for a walk, and then I can rest the remainder of the day. Possibly do a little light gardening. Hope you&amp;#39;re all having a good Saturday.

    I&amp;#39;m home now. I had a nice walk, and getting my glasses adjusted wasn&amp;#39;t a problem. I think I can have a snooze on the sofa now.

    I was watching a blackbird in my garden. He was staring intently into a bush and opening and closing his mouth (silently, not singing). He looked like nothing so much as a cat watching birds through a window. Eventually he charged into the bush and I&amp;#39;ve no idea what he did then, until he eventually emerged and started singing on the fence in the usual blackbird way. Is this normal blackbird behaviour? I can&amp;#39;t recall seeing it before.

    Hurrah. It&#39;s taken a long time (because it was a small part of a very large Bill) but the legislation to entirely decriminalise abortion in England and Wales has finally got through Parliament and is now law.     Morning everyone. I had a reasonable night&amp;#39;s sleep, albeit with busy dreams, and I&amp;#39;m going out for a bit once I&amp;#39;ve finished my tea. Won&amp;#39;t be walking terribly far because I&amp;#39;m still quite low on energy. But it&amp;#39;ll still be nice to get out and about (I&amp;#39;m going to the largest woods in the immediate area). Hope you&amp;#39;re all having a good morning/evening/whatever.

    I&amp;#39;ve been listening to the new album by Raye, This Music May Contain Hope. Fair to say that it&amp;#39;s Quite A Lot.     Friends in England, a message for you. I have periodically posted this before, but it&amp;#39;s been a while since I last did, and I was putting my pills into my pill organiser and thought of it. If you regularly have prescriptions, you do NOT need to pay for them all.     And I have a question: You know index card files, like in this here picture? Does anyone know of an android app that&amp;#39;s good for making organised notes in this way? Ideally searchable. I&amp;#39;ve used ColorNote for as long as I&amp;#39;ve had a smartphone. You know, I&#39;m not convinced many people use our ambulances out of choice. I don&#39;t think a lot of stroke patients spend their time checking to see how we&#39;re rated on trustpilot before dialling 999.
