Sky News have calculated that Reform are doing 5% worse across England than they were in the local elections this time last year. Might be a useful way to offset the ludicrous hyperbole that is getting pumped out.

@RolloTreadway@beige.party With the crooked electoral system in England, more seats doesn't equate to more votes. The rigged system has to go. If Reform get 27% of the vote they should get 27% of the seats. No more, no less.

@RolloTreadway@beige.party If anyone phoned me up asking about "if there was a general election tomorrow..." I'd be tempted to ask them "If the moon was made of cheese, would it be Gouda?" Not only would that be poorly advised logistically impossible and illegal (all things that could be removed by hypotheticals) our entire political climate would have been transformed for six weeks beforehand. It's just an incredibly rude question to ask all the hardworking volunteer canvasers, hustings organisers, and door-knockers in political parties. I think that would mean I'd end up in "don't know", 😀
