Today we have plenty of rain!! Weird for this to be a celebration in the uk. Now thinking about washing my car for the first time this summer. Washing our cars in the rain not only saves loads of water, saves time bothering to wash the bubbles off after and a tiny bit off our big phat water bills #drought #watershortage #watershortages #watershortageintheuk #savewater #water #environment #norain #rain #Poverty #povertyawareness

@aegir@toot.wales Damp, yes. Cooler, yes. In the much deeper cuts, 20 minutes before this photo, much of the towpath was muddy. The walls of the cut are stone, there. Given the drought, where was that water coming from, I wonder? Was it being released by the earth, after 1½ months of dry weather? Or was it leaking from a river, up above? #SUC #CRT #UK #boating #boaty #narrowboat #canal #water #shortage #WaterShortage

Good Morning toot from Munich, at 24°C in the shade already at 6 in the morning. In a few hours it'll be 35°C or more - again. Remember the conclusion of the World Weather Attribution Organisation? "A rapid phase-out of fossil fuels is critical if we are to avoid even higher temperatures and their consequences in the future." Or our species and so many others might not see another century. #EndFossilFuels #MassExtinction #HeatWave #WaterShortage

Karaj dam, north of Tehran is almost overfull and may start overflowing. As another side effect of the war of US/Israel against Iran, the rain patterns across most of west Asia, specially Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan changed dramatically in a way never seen before. Once almost dried out, the damn that provides a large portion of Tehran's water supply is almost over capacity. #Iran #WaterShortage #KarajDam #WarOnIran #WestAsia
