Rupert was such a special cat and our first Cornish Rex. 2002-2019 We still miss him. He was the cat we didn't want! We specially wanted a female, solid colour (brown or black or grey). But the minute we saw this tiny squirming red tiger-marked tabby male kitten, we knew he was ours! He was not only a wonderful friend and companion, full of character, but when we took him to his only cat show at 8 months old, he won his championship and every other prize going and the hearts of the judges and all who saw him! He then quit competing so as not to demoralize the other cats. He was kind in that way, too. Here he was getting his championship https://zeroes.ca/@elliek/116268192742976754 For #TongueOutTuesday #EllieKPosts #CaturdayEveryDay #CatsOfMastondon #CornishRex #cats

Arwen's last visit to the woods, with my mum, while I was in hospital, getting ready to be released after emergency surgery. Unfortunately, this was also Arwen's last Tongue Out Tuesday (even though it was a Wednesday), as she passed away two days later. 😢 I miss this gall so much... So I quickly wanted to share her for a late #TongueOutTuesday. #Labrador #DogsOfMastodon #Dog #DogsOfPixelfed #Labradorable #PixelfedDogs #RIPArwen

#Photography :blobcatcamera: "Special Topic Days" tag list! 📍 Together with awesome folks, I am working on making a list with all the special tags for photography. Not "just" all the tags, but the ones that have a special topic-day. When you see the list, you (probably) will understand what I mean... :ablobcatangel: If you know any of these kinds of photography tags that are missing, do let me know, and I will try to add them all to the list! ✅ This is what we have collected so far: Monday: #MonDog#MountainMonday #MonochromeMonday Tuesday: #TongueOutTuesday #ThickTrunkTuesday (or Thursday) #MardiPatisserie (tasty treats) Wednesday: #WaterfallWednesday #MeerMittwoch Thursday: #ThickTrunkTuesday (or Tuesday) #Doorsday Friday: #FensterFreitag#FootpathFriday Saturday: #Caturday Sunday: #SilentSunday #StandingStoneSunday Please, if I missed any, do let me know! I hope to make this list as complete as possible. 📸

Hmm 🤔 I always seem to "miss out" on the "special tag" picture days... Sometimes I know about them, but I seem to forget about them, until I see people sharing posts with it (usually a day later 🫣). And sometimes I never knew about them... I was wondering if someone had maybe, possibly, made a list of the" most famous" picture tags, and they would be willing to share it with me... :bb: I know about #FensterFreitag. I learned about #FootpathFriday. There's #TongueOutTuesday". But what would be some good others, that I may be able to participate in? :blobcat_think: Please, do let me know! Fankoos in advance! :blobcatcamera: #Photography #Pixelfed
