#Trump’s threat that the #US could charge #fees on ships transiting through the #StraitOfHormuz breaks with his own admin’s stance. Last month, Secretary of State #MarcoRubio said, “It’s an #InternationalWaterway,” referring to the strait. “No country is allowed to charge #tolls or fees on an international waterway. That’s existing #InternationalLaw.”
