Secondo quanto riferito dallo Shomrim, organizzazione di sicurezza della comunità ebraica, i volontari sono intervenuti immediatamente riuscendo a fermare e trattenere il sospetto fino all'arrivo della polizia. Gli agenti - riporta la Bbc - hanno quindi utilizzato un taser per immobilizzare l'uomo che è stato arrestato. Secondo quanto riferito dallo Shomrim, organizzazione di sicurezza della comunità ebraica, "un uomo è stato visto correre lungo Golders Green Road armato di coltello e tentare di accoltellare alcuni passanti di religione ebraica". Lo stesso individuo sarebbe poi stato "immediatamente fermato" dal servizio di sicurezza e successivamente "la polizia è intervenuta usando un taser". Il sospettato sarebbe in questo momento in custodia. Le vittime hanno ricevuto cure mediche da parte dell'organizzazione di soccorso Hatzola.
