Hi everyone, it's time for an #introduction on this instance. 👋 I'm Lu (he/him), I live in Leipzig, Germany and you might know me from my other account (@lu_leipzig@troet.cafe). I like to move slow, fix things, hand-write assembly and play synths. On this account, I'll toot about my electronics projects, criticism of AI and the state of FOSS. I might also participate in some AuDHD-related discussions. #electronics #synth #synthesizer #assembly #ActuallyAuDHD

So #BandcampFriday is nearly upon us, and to celebrate that and the release of my latest #electronica EP “Everything We Want”, I assembled a playlist of some of my most beloved tracks by a variety of producers in #DrumAndBass, #Jungle, Prog #House, #Breakbeat, and of course a dash of #Synthwave. If you like your beats to fall on the more melodic side with lots of #synthesizer sequencers and phat analog bass sounds and all that jazz, I think you'll really enjoy this! 🎶😎 https://www.yarred.com/2026/08/06/summer-beats-playlist/

Today’s the day! 🎉 #BandcampFriday You can pick up my latest release “Everything We Want” and pay what YOU want…and I’ll get all of it! (Bandcamp doesn't take a cut today.) https://yarred.bandcamp.com/album/everything-we-want Check out my previous releases as well! “Subterranean” and “Multnomah” each with a distinct yet recognizable vibe. https://yarred.bandcamp.com/album/subterranean https://yarred.bandcamp.com/album/multnomah If you like your #synthesizer music spiced with an 80s & 90s retro flair, you’ll definitely dig this. 🎶 🤘😎

Today, in time for #BandCampFriday tomorrow, I have a reverse #birthday gift for you: An atmospheric, relaxing old-school #synthesizer #electronica track, I wrote during the recent #FAWM Song Sprint in June. Made a better mix and added overdubs and SFX. More info about the track, and download on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/spotlight-kyd/entering If you're feeling generous, buy it on BandCamp (1€+): https://spotlight-kyd.bandcamp.com/track/entering Or get it for free from my NextCloud server (FLAC): https://0x20.eu/nc/s/jM3qnrJLaLM39cx

Impactor, Rupture 2 by Rawton Forge are perfect percussion synths for Live - CDM Create Digital Music

That's it. Rawton Forge has nailed it. With the new Rupture 2 on the kick and bass drum synthesis side, and Impactor handling general-purpose percussion synthesis for kicks/toms/tonal, you have an ideal floor-rattling, punchy, snappy synthesis duo for Ableton Live.

Looking to connect with a group of like-minded #synthesizer enthusiasts to pull off an elaborate bank heist in order to afford Vangelis's very first CS-80. #Vangelis #synthesizers https://musictech.com/news/gear/vangelis-yamaha-cs-80-for-sale/
Vangelis's first Yamaha CS-80 was listed on Reverb for £400k – and someone actually bought it

Vangelis's first Yamaha CS-80 was listed on Reverb for £400k – and someone actually bought it

It costs £401,465.62, is fully functional, and has a single cigarette mark on an A key... but did it belong to Vangelis?
