It's not MISinformation, it's DISinformation. And why that is so much worse. #SubStack if you're filtering https://yourangrypediatrician.substack.com/p/always-tell-the-whole-story

Beneath the forest floor the fungal threads run for miles, carrying sugar from the strong tree to the sick one — no headline, no applause, just the quiet insistence that nothing here survives alone. That's what this publication is. The girl, the buoys hauled dripping from the dark, the slow draining of every instrument we built to hear the world tell the truth — we keep it all in the record. And we can only do that because of you. No billionaire. No ad network. Just readers who refuse to look away. Click an advertiser today. It is not transactional. It is one more place set at the table. It keeps the lights on. It keeps us alive. https://twp.ai/4hs9J8 #IndependentMedia #MutualAid #MutualAidRequest #SupportJournalism #QueerMedia #Solidarity #CommunityCare #Resistance #TransRights #ClimateCrisis #Substack #QueerNews #Photography

Times of India | America’s biggest investor Michael Burry says: Plain and simple, AI stocks are an asset bubble as ... AI generated summary, Read the full article for complete information. Michael Burry, the investor famed for forecasting the 2008 housing crash, has warned that the current surge in AI stocks mirrors the dot‑com bubble of the late 1990s and is likely an “asset bubble, plain and simple.” Citing a Business Insider report on Burry’s Substack post, he noted that 87 % of this year’s venture‑capital funding has gone to AI—far higher than the sub‑40 % share for internet firms in 1999—and that high‑yield debt tied to AI now stands at 38 %, comparable to the 40‑50 % levels seen during the dot‑com era. While cautioning investors, Burry disclosed purchases of Adobe, PayPal and Lululemon as part of a “mass whale fall” away from AI‑centric bets, arguing that many AI startups remain loss‑making and that the market’s enthusiasm is driven by speculative options and leverage rather than genuine enterprise value. He questioned the lasting utility of AI projects, pointing to studies showing limited practical outcomes and warning that demand could wane amid recessionary pressures, geopolitical risks, and consumer reluctance to pay for AI tools that are often available for free. His stark warning likened the market to “jumping the shark” and suggested a crash could be imminent, echoing the fate of the 1999 tech rally. A routine reminder that it's always a good idea to boycott #Substack. We have long known that it platforms and profits from Nazi publications. And now: #manosphere influencers with multiple accusations of serious crimes... so much so that there is a dedicated Wikipedia page about them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_affairs_of_the_Tate_brothers No problem for #Substack though! They happily take a 10% cut from all paid subscriptions. There are many great alternatives to SS: Ghost, Buttondown, beehiiv, Patreon... no more excuses

@Cal@kind.social @azteclady@kind.social that's exactly my #NuancedOpinion. It would be ableist af to deny you your own voice & words!I merely hinted at #SoundCloud and #PasteBin so it's easy to consume and share, and because #Spotify and #Substack are garbage platforms hosting garbage personalities…Noone expects or demands you to "#SelfHost or GTFO!" stuff on like an MkDocs-Material with Privacy- and Blog - Extensions. And I'm certain you have more pressing concerns re: your content…

Reposting this story as I am still dismayed whenever I see a fellow progressive writer is hosted on #Substack. This platform continues to willingly host - and monetize - white supremacist newsletters with literal Nazi insignia. https://funcrunch.org/blog/2025/09/01/support-for-substack-is-normalizing-the-nazi-bar/

Yeah, so... Substack, I'm out “Substack announced a new partnership with #Polymarket earlier this week. I guess if #Substack is the future of media (it isn’t), then the future of media is gambling. (That’s bad though. You see why that’s bad, right?) Unsurprisingly, I hate it. This is noxious for society and particularly toxic for writers. Basketball blogger Tom Ziller articulated the problem well in his newsletter this morning” https://davekarpf.substack.com/p/yeah-so-substack-im-out

Substack: wyciek adresów e-mail i numerów telefonów części użytkowników Substack to platforma, na której twórcy mogą tworzyć własne newslettery (także płatne) a użytkownicy – subskrybować i czytać ich treści. Z początkiem lutego użytkownik BreachForums poinformował, że uzyskał dane (prawie 700 tysięcy rekordów) użytkowników platformy. Firma potwierdziła fakt wycieku i wydała ogólny komunikat informujący użytkowników o sytuacji. TLDR: W komunikacie... #WBiegu #Breachforums #Substack #Wyciek https://sekurak.pl/substack-wyciek-adresow-e-mail-i-numerow-telefonow-czesci-uzytkownikow/
