I think it's so cool that from my house in Nottingham, with a cheap SDR dongle and the included antenna I can pick up ADSB signals from aircraft over a hundred miles away and then plot their details on a map with an opensource tool and a bit of HTML. #SoftwareDefinedRadio #SDR #RTLSDR #Radio #aviation

I suppose this is true, strictly speaking, but only in the same way that using a computer or a mobile phone could end up with you introduced to the same set of friends.

Anybody got any pointers for GUI based #sdr software for R820T based sticks for OSX? On my old linux box I was decoding 433Mhz stuff and it was fun.
