The madness of NHS workforce planning continues; newly qualified nurses (having graduated) are finding it increasingly difficult (or impossible) to get jobs as nurses as the NHS has a recruitment freeze on; it also reflects some good news in that nurse retention (another focus of planning) is rising reducing vacancies in a workforce constrained by budget limitations.
