Thanks to @Taweret@timeloop.cafe for 1:35 of soft 80s rock wrapped around the Apocalypse as experienced by LA teenagers. We had smoking, but no coffee. Gratuitous violence and retail therapy. Chakotay as Santa Claus. Some weird mad-scientist blood harvest sub-plot. Empty LA streets. Red dust. The world's most deadly comet (appearing offstage). Zombies as a degenerative disease. The nation's #1 neon sex pad and radio station. Tempest. McMuffins mentioned but not seen, BMW product placement (among others). The Rise and Fall of the Stock Boys. Mommy Dearest (who dies). Underage stripping. Plush bunny. The last third of the movie was one long bathroom and snack bar break. I kept trying to make out the brand of beer everybody was drinking, but it's just not clear enough on the copy I was watching. #Monsterdon #NightOfTheComet
