Make it make sense. As the world burns in the oil industry's #ClimateCrisis, the Luxon government is celebrating a (futile) new search for fuel to throw on the fires. Europe’s extreme heat has killed around 20,000 people in just one week, including over 5,700 deaths in France alone, while a five‑day heatwave in India was linked to nearly 30,000 excess deaths.
