Badakhshi, an operational planner who reportedly fled Afghanistan in October 2025, was allegedly involved in planning the February 11, 2025 attack on a Kabul Bank branch in Kunduz. In the same report, Al-Mersaad for the first time explicitly claimed that Taliban have conducted operations against ISKP inside Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. They alleged that recent strikes in Tirah (Tor Dara) and Orakzai killed nearly 20 ISKP militants, including senior figures such as Haji Rahman (Abu Nasir) and Mullah Farooqi, indicating that the Taliban are pursuing ISKP even on the other side of the Durand Line. Date: 18 Ramadan 1447, corresponding to 16 Hoot 1404 The Head of Urban Planning and Housing of Kunduz Province inspected the distribution of plots in the Khajeh Keftar migrant settlement in Chahar Dara district of the province, observing the work of field engineers, the distribution process, and field challenges. The distribution of plots in the Khajeh Keftar migrant settlement has progressed approximately 45% according to the detailed plan for the settlement. More than 1,500 plots have been distributed to deserving migrants whose lists were sent by the Permanent Housing and Land Distribution Committee for Central Migrants, and the distribution of plots for deserving migrants is ongoing urgently. It is noteworthy that many families are currently constructing their shelters in the area and, according to them, have dug wells to meet their needs, reaching a depth of approximately (40) meters to obtain potable water in the aforementioned settlement, and are practically busy building shelters on their allocated plots. The Governor of Kunduz met with the General Manager of the Chinese factory, Aftab-e-Sharq, for iron smelting and the production of construction-related steel rods! Respected Governor of Kunduz, Mr. Dawood Haje Sahib, met with Mr. Xing Jian Li, the General Manager of the Chinese Aftab-e-Sharq iron smelting factory, in his office. During the meeting, the Chinese investor provided information about the ongoing construction of the factory in the Asqalan area for iron smelting and the production of steel rods needed for construction, and assured that in the future, they will also build a cement production factory in Kunduz province. He expressed his pleasure with the cooperation of the provincial administration and shared his needs in areas other than the internet. Governor of Kunduz welcomed the Chinese investor and added that the province of Kunduz and its residents need production companies and development activities.
