Got Phosh's immutable BengalOS to boot on a Google Pixel 3A. There's quiet a bit of work left to make that usable but I'm already looking forward to try some of Phosh's features for immutable on a real device rather than a VM image.
This is only possible due to the immense work of @mobian@fosstodon.org and @postmarketOS@social.treehouse.systems .

Phosh now support's hiding and disabling applications. This is useful on immutable systems where software from the base images can't be uninstalled:

The mobile settings app now supports OS updates for immutable images that use systemd-sysupdate. There's also a now a notification that tells the user about available updates provided by a new small service:

The mobile settings app is responsible for making hidden apps visible again. We also moved it to AdwSidebar to make it easier to navigate in folded mode and to better separate the conf-tweaks (aka #postmarketOS tweaks).
