After this frivolous motion is heard we still have a costly CPS/FCS investigation ongoing (yes, if you're accusing or accused you have to pay up to $2k to CPS for investigations) Then we have mediation next month. Which is of course why sane parents never end up in family court in the first place. In WA state, parents can simply share custody without any court order. There isn't really a requirement to go to court unless the parties can't trust one another. I got stopped by the cops today after my ex refused to pickup our child from the exchange for over TWO HOURS! Ten days, that's the longest I've gone this year without police contact over false claims from my ex. Seattle police today used an undercover cop and had nearly a half dozen cops come through (some well after the exchange) and harassed me as I left. Trump is working to get more federal use out of local family court proceeedings.
