Even under Thatcher's, the #Conservatives were a broad church. Local parties controlled candidate selection. Many chose cautious moderates. #WilliamHague ended that. 0POV leadership elections, but centralised selection of candidates. #KemiBadenoch is extremist centraliser. She personally vetts all Tory candidates to pick only zealots. https://archive.is/srdBF #NetZero out. #ECHR out. No debate, no nuance. This zealotry has a ceiling of ~20% support. #Kemisphere is cohesive, but small. #ukpol

"The BBC understands that the aim is for member states to reach a political declaration by the spring which would set how the European Convention on Human Rights is applied in migration cases. " "in migration cases"??? You would have hoped that Starmer, as allegedly a former human rights lawyer, would understand that human rights apply to all humans in all circumstances. Not just to white people. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2g03gv2z6o #Starmer #CreepingFascism #ECHR #HumanRights
