Ultimately the thing that makes people talk about AI as "slop" and distrust people who use it is that its impossible to gain the speed advantages of using LLM bots without abrogating responsibility for the veracity and good intentions and intentionality of the process. You have to trust the *bot* if you use these tools and we dont want to trust the bot. And the people who are subject to the process learn quickly not to trust it.

I’m using other browsers more these days." Something is severely wrong, rotten in Cupertino, when a longtime Mac developer is driven from Safari. I personally struggle with Safari bugs practically every day. On today’s #transit ride on #marta ( city of Atlanta transit ) , it’s fuckin Saturday so I expected zero #transphobia , turns out a really hot looking #transmasc got on as I did and they were really fuckin cool so that didn’t stress me out nearly as bad. Question the to the void: would you read stories about the day to day life of an #eldertrans both from a public experience to a private one ? I’ve lost my muse and I need to find a new one ( or a new subject to write ) #comment please

Weil der Noch-Fossilist "Realo" auf meinem Wissenschaftsblog immer wieder die gleiche Desinformation postet, promptete ich Felo.ai um eine Darstellung der Kosten "fossiler Bürokratie" in Deutschland. Die Antwort ist verblüffend präzise & zeigt auf, wie Wissenskommunikation zukünftig aussehen wird (ob uns das hier passt oder nicht): "Im Jahr 2025 wurden in Deutschland rund 8 Terawattstunden Wind- und Solarstrom ungenutzt abgeregelt [6]. Die Kosten für diese Ausfallzahlungen sowie für den stattdessen notwendigen Zukauf von fossilem Gas tragen die Verbraucher über die Netzentgelte [6]. Eine Analyse zeigt: Wäre die deutsche Batterie-Projektpipeline bereits vollständig am Netz gewesen, hätte ein Drittel dieser Abregelungen vermieden werden können [6]. That's a separate problem and if people don't like it - they can boycott the project or fork it or just spread awareness about him being cunt (with evidence, and no, "brodie said so" doesn't count as evidence) meanwhile specifically packaging his project he does not want to see packaged and then telling him to fuck off when he asks to take it down? that's just disrespectful and sends a very bad message to every developer you can see my other replies in the thread for more details, I'm not gonna type the entire summary here see also endrift's comment here, I agree with her position here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/duckstation-git?O=20#comment-1035344
