My 1.5yr old kid is obsessed with the moon. He asks for it all the time, so we try to bring him outside and show it to him. Of course it's not always visible and he gets sad. Due to Reasons I happen to have a galaxy projector that also has a built-in pico projector in order to play cheesy "3D" space videos. I figured that it probably had a micro SD card somewhere in it, which turned out to be true. So with the help of a screwdriver and ffmpeg I've now given my kid his very own moon.

@penryu same. I do sometimes wonder if it's all just a large game of "let's see what BS we can get away with" on the part of the sellers. Maybe it's all just folk stories made up using pseudoscience to invent new categories of things that the audiophile clearly is missing out on.

@penryu the mythology audiophiles tell themselves is wild. Like, where do these concepts even come from? I feel like one could write a rather compelling psychological (or sociology?) masters thesis on the mythology of audiophiles.
