@cR0w@infosec.exchange oh that's so awesome! i've always wanted something like that, i didn't realize bash already had it! this feels like a good place to share one of my favorite weird bash history tricks, !$ it expands to the final argument of the last invocation of . so you can run cat file and later run vim !cat$ to edit the file i'll probably use that a lot less now, i mainly use it to correct typos in the command itself, but caret substitution works way better :P

Hey, I made a thing! It's called doink. Doink gives you dynamic git remotes by using DNS TXT records as pointers.

I wrote a bit about how it works and what it's useful for.

Anyway, do you ever thing about how DNS is a basically a decentralized key-value database?
I think about it a lot :)
