I don't understand all these supposed Firefox users raging about the new Firefox Nightly UI. It's like déjà vu of Quantum all over again. https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/new-firefox-design/
I actually really like it.
I make videos about solving the problems caused technology and the value of open source software. No technical terms, no nonsense. Second Linux Vtuber.

The average edits Samsung does every event. Each cut is a change Samsung makes between the live event and the edited "replay" they edit on top of using the in-place YouTube editor.
"Why is the battery icon yellow? Did I do something wrong?" 😱
Your iPad's in power saving mode. 😑
"Can you make my Mac run faster? It's been pretty slow lately."
You know I'm deranged because I wasted my time listening to a 20 minute interview with Mustafa Suleyman and didn't hear a single thing of value in the entire thing. Yet I never laughed so hard all morning.
Ageless Linux is such a crock. All you had to do was leave a field nobody uses blank and yet you chose to download a random shell script from a guy on GitHub. Not to mention it tampers with your /etc/os-release because Claude thought it was a good idea.
Don't recommend it.
You really don't use Linux or Arch Linux when you pronounce the AUR as "R".
It's come to my attention the music website I use, DOVA-SYNDROME, has changed all links to all of their music. This means if I have ever cited music before, there's a chance it won't take you to that song anymore. Just trying their hardest to keep me counting my ad revenue...
Guy's paying for something with his son and makes the comment "It's okay, soon we'll have stable coins and we won't need to do this anymore." 💀
From a presentation at work: "We need a website for our operating system today..."
Out of context, a nerd convulsed in rage.
It's actually bonkers that people are accusing @jorge@hachyderm.io, @swick@fosstodon.org, and @AdrianVovk@fosstodon.org of creating drama with each other. Here's the happy faces of people "creating drama" with each other.
There is no Flatpak drama. Just a bunch of nerds stirring up hatred for developers. Linux "news" is disgusting.
"I thought Bazzite wasn't good in gaming. I heard CachyOS doesn't have these issues."
Oh, CachyOS does and has the same problems. That's Linux gaming for you. It's sad that people like him are directed to use an Arch-based thing and thrown off a cliff than something that updated me silently to Fedora 43 with no issues on Bazzite.
Ly-sec, a Noctalia developer, supports Switched to Linux (AKA Tom Murosky), a grifter who uses his platform to spread his extreme politics, hate of LGBTQ+ communities, all with zero research or credibility on Linux. https://trafotin.com/v/tom-murosky
"I will never use Flatpaks because I have to type `flatpak run com.example.Application`. It's insane Flatpak developers don't change it!"
Except you can add `/var/lib/flatpak/exports/bin` to your $PATH. This way, you can type `com.example.Application` in your terminal, dmenu, everywhere. Also if you aren't using completions and insist on doing everything in the terminal, you have bigger problems.
Shout out to the Evil Skeleton (@TheEvilSkeleton@social.treehouse.systems) , who blogged about this 3 years ago. https://tesk.page/2022/09/28/what-not-to-recommend-to-flatpak-users/#aliasing-flatpak-run
