On the one hand, you have this process in place where you can go to the board instead of the CoC because you know that there can be conflicts of interest, etc. On the other hand, you're not even acknowledging that it is a problem that the same people are on the board and in the CoC committee. At least Karol did so.

Like I said previously, the problem is that the CoC and board are the same people.
That's not a "me" issue, that's a dysfunctional organization, one that you apparently don't see a problem with.
Those are the things which make me distrust you and the wider CoC.

Besides, the CoC has consistently given me reasons to distrust it.
I had a very opposing experience with the GNOME CoC where I always felt safe and like I could trust the people. I had people reach out to me, privately, and clearly with good intentions, telling me when discussions went sideways.
On the other hand, the fdo CoC was public, aggressive and assertive.
