@nixCraft@mastodon.social i switched the other way, from mint to void, from "stable" to rolling, and wouldn't go back any time soon
indeed are rolling release distros nowadays more stable than stable release distros like 15 years ago and the gap gets narrower, because testing periods are way more efficient nowadays and get shorter. then to be able to use recent software you add container to your lts which in turn when you need to do your major upgrade leads to extra hoops to hop through, so maintenance is equal
