Morante de la Puebla, Spain. Aggravated cruelty towards animal. The abuse is particularly heinous, involves extreme torture, or results in the animal's death.
One of Spain's most famous bullfighters, José Antonio Morante de la Puebla, left Seville's April fair with a perforated rectum. A 10-centimeter wound to the posterior area, damage to the sphincter muscles, and a perforated rectum. His injuries required an immediate 2-hour surgery.

It's not just rich. It's also the people. The rich are aligned with working class in these issues. Socialists and unions were pushing more cheap coal and oil until 90s.
Left is now educated or wealthy and working class is right in US and many European countries because cheap gas is what people want. If oil company makes 10% profit, 90% of the benefit goes to consumer.
ps. If you earn more than $60,000 you are in global top 1% in income.

I'm not pessimistic. What I'm saying is that structure creates incentives and psychological factors matter.
Some formats drag people down, some uplift them. When we have platform that incentives quick reactions, drama, groupthink, that's what you get.

The medium is the message

Wikipedia undeniably good, blogging good, Mastodon, X, Fb, TikTok, may have pockets of nice, but in general not so much. Even if you remove algorithm and profit motive, Mastodon carries the same short format microblogging curse as all others.

In the internet it's hard to know. Sadly, this is zero context environment when interacting casually.

I'm 80% sure this is sarcasm 🤔 Does everybody understand it is sarcasm?
I mean, "discriminating based on race, gender, age, class, religion, disability, or sexual orientation is legally complicated because it codifies a fundamental principle in liberal democracy. But if any of those groups start to vote for UKIP, then good riddance" must be sarcasm, right?

Self serving moral speech has nothing to do with morality. Alex Jones and many other public figures are pivoting, not concerned.
Looking for corporations for political and moral action is looking for something else than democracy.
60% of American see Military as positive force. This is mess American citizens created and they have the responsibility to clean the mess. Corporations do not save the world.

Commander Reid Wiseman's voice bridged the 239,000-mile void, delivering a phrase that instantly anchored itself in the bedrock of human history.
The utterance, delivered with a perceptible awe, shifted the global narrative of the mission from a feat of engineering to a moment of profound collective reflection. Within minutes, the quote had bypassed mission control and ignited a worldwide dialogue on planetary stewardship.
