Apartment I thought I had lost is back in play. Lovely attic place built in 1903. German grandma vibes. The broker who cancelled for unspecified personal reasons wasn't lying and we had been unable to reach him because he's not with the firm any more. We have once again registered our Interest.

Well, the apartment we looked at was a very nice place but after a brief discussion we decided it was too expensive; we had seen literally identical places elsewhere in town for hundreds less.

It's one of the many apartments they built for railyard workers in 1908. Nice, but not for that price.

Reminder: Kobi and I are moving soon. We need something in the Cologne-Bonn-Leverkusen area. I have a job offer in Pulheim so the closer the better. We are looking at options now but I need to be out of my apartment by 15 July, so I may need temporary housing til we find a more permanent place.

Could it be that the reason the state did a 180 on the LGBTQ+ community is the fact that we are fundamentally decentralized and unable to be fully absorbed and pacified by the state? We're resistant to strategic absorbtion. They tried to turn us into something useful and we were too free for them. This is the fate of a lot of movements against the state. First they are fought, then they are absorbed and controlled.
