Anything reading the DOM without rendering fonts (scrapers, copy-paste into a text tool, language models digesting raw HTML) only ever gets the encoded version.
It will not work with screen readers. It will not work with a system clipboard.
Also, it’s slop. Which explains why a simple „who’s gonna end up in the blast radius” question was never asked. „You’re absolutely right” syndrome right there.
I don’t see a lot of mentions of #ukrainian civil society in action in my feed, but in case news start rushing in I want to remind everybody about one important fact: #Ukraine is not #Zelensky.
Ukrainians fight and protest because they deny anyone the right to make that claim.
What really annoys me about all the attempts to make #AI replace the coder is that they miss the simple fact that code is a language and languages live only when they are spoken.
Programs are not mere instructions, they are languages used to describe certain models of the world. From punch cards, to C, to Python, each language exists to convey a model space.
And the reason we invented them is because natural languages suck at precision work. Always have, always will.

I don't have words. I'm working on a codebase that has been developed two months ago or so. A huge chunk of it was obviously vibe coded, with me trying to control damage via reviews.
The fucking thing feels like a good five year old legacy codebase. Forgotten chunks of code, complexity for no reason, non-explanatory tests...
The plague of IT industry - loss of context and knowledge over the years - got condensed by #AI into months.
