Anything reading the DOM without rendering fonts (scrapers, copy-paste into a text tool, language models digesting raw HTML) only ever gets the encoded version.
It will not work with screen readers. It will not work with a system clipboard.
Also, it’s slop. Which explains why a simple „who’s gonna end up in the blast radius” question was never asked. „You’re absolutely right” syndrome right there.

For crying out loud, why is it so hard for people to understand that faith is entirely optional? Lack of belief in gods is not a belief into absence of gods.
Moreover, [a]gnosticism is entirely orthogonal to [a]theism. Every sane atheist is agnostic by default, because believers insistently push their Gods definitions into the realm of unobservable.
Stop projecting your need for faith onto others.

Corporations are taxes on profit. Individuals are taxed on revenue.
„Income” conveniently means both revenue and profit, depending on context. It tends to mean profit in context of corporations. In context of small businesses and individuals it tends to mean revenue.

A sizable chunk of vocal atheists I saw online were young and hurt by religious folks. They _need_ the God to not exist, because to them the God is evil. In a very practical sense.
I, personally, will argue that the strategy of keeping God unknowable implicitly keeps him irrelevant. I don’t care if God exists, but if he does, he has a lot to answer for.
As an aside, do note that most believers fervently deny existence of „wrong” gods.

Please tell me I’m not the only one seeing this „argument” harming Native Americans would it take off! Both in false equivalence it presents, and a false contradiction it offers as ammunition.
What really annoys me about all the attempts to make #AI replace the coder is that they miss the simple fact that code is a language and languages live only when they are spoken.
Programs are not mere instructions, they are languages used to describe certain models of the world. From punch cards, to C, to Python, each language exists to convey a model space.
And the reason we invented them is because natural languages suck at precision work. Always have, always will.

Look at later graphs, they clearly label the phases: „pre”, „learning”, and „test”.
Making mistakes in learning is exactly how we learn. Replace AI with a happy-to-help specialist, and you’ll get a similar result.
Hell, train AI model with only the correct answers and no negative backpressure, and it will recognize sarcomas by the presence of ruler markers on the x-rays.

Turned out to be a vibe recoding of the test suite I wrote that another developer let their coding assistant merge in.
For anyone not caring about testing (too many) those tests would look ok. In reality, they tested nothing.
LLM output looks coherent locally, but loses that coherence real fast.

I don't have words. I'm working on a codebase that has been developed two months ago or so. A huge chunk of it was obviously vibe coded, with me trying to control damage via reviews.
The fucking thing feels like a good five year old legacy codebase. Forgotten chunks of code, complexity for no reason, non-explanatory tests...
The plague of IT industry - loss of context and knowledge over the years - got condensed by #AI into months.

I know AI companies aren’t the entire field. I know they are actively poisoning the field.
But that’s exactly why term „AI” is tainted now. If the bubble doesn’t burst catastrophically, it will forever remain a specialized designation. That’s just how languages evolve.

Specifically their justification for lack of IMAP support. While certain guarantees cannot be made out of the box, the ones that can be made fit security profile or many users, and with a simple publication of a protocol or protocol enhancement, support could be implemented for any client.
