I just saw a job advert by a local software company in which they were looking to hire an "AI Adoption Engineer".
The job description was a bit lengthy, but the main point, apparently, was that the recruitee would be tasked with "driving" (read: selling) AI adoption within the organisation.
So it seems AI is, contrary to all fears, _creating_ new jobs in IT 😄
