@mttaggart@infosec.exchange AUR packages are completely community-maintained. The idea of changes being accepted means the community maintainer pushed the changes. If an AUR package doesn't have a maintainer, you can essentially just volunteer to be the maintainer for the package. If the maintainer of an AUR package goes inactive, you can flag it and after a period of time (14 days, IIRC), become the maintainer.

@alice_watson it's beyond time for things to change on the requesting credit side too. you can do far too much with a birthdate and an SSN, which are both essentially public info at this point. (and even then, the fact that 5/9 of the digits of an SSN assigned before 2011 can be predicted if you know where someone was born and the remaining 4 are the typically unobscured digits... yikes.) let me sign things with a private key only I have please.
