The kindness of strangers
On our walk today, Husband twisted his ankle and fainted from the pain.
He was on the pavement, and it took what seemed like ages for him to come around.
Lots of people stopped and 2 stayed with me while it happened.
When he was able to move, we sat him on stone steps, then a neighbour offered to call an ambulance or take us home in his car.
We are now safely home, and resting.
Thank you James and Ruby, you are so very kind. I will never forget you.💙

Serious question: do you feel you are part of your local community?
What makes you feel included? Or if not, what makes you feel you are not a part of it (what is lacking)?

In other words, I suppose my broader question would be what makes people feel like they belong in their local community.
