It honestly makes me tear up how we as a society have built some of the most complex machines and feats of engineering, for the sole purpose of connecting the world together, by defeating gravity?!?!? And not only is it so safe that you don't give it a second thought, we've now connected every major route to each other. There is no further flights (okay maybe to auckland but less demand for that and also it just proved it was possible too).
Like. We won. You can literally now take a flight AROUND THE ENTIRE WORLD. That's it, end the game, roll the credits. Probably hundreds of billions of hours of time that people spent engineering aircraft, designing planes, building parts, analyzing faults, sourcing, studying, producing,
To most people this sounds ridiculous for me to write, but. yeah. It makes me so happy and i'm so excited for it
