@moh_kohn@mastodon.scot I gave it a go. CSP errors are gone. more testing suggests the issue is with how the Atkinson font is getting loaded/used in the body. I don't think chromium is using that font, but it is falling back to Helvetica Neue correctly, where firefox isn't.

@moh_kohn@mastodon.scot @GoteerTxuria@derg.social firefox ESR in my case; it's throwing errors like: "Content-Security-Policy: The page’s settings blocked an inline style (style-src-attr) from being applied because it violates the following directive: “style-src blob: *”. Consider using a hash ('sha256-eyEQIkqjJt2vT6Kt1pkSUhwTpB67WcyjJnghw+gdf54=', requires 'unsafe-hashes' for style attributes) or a nonce." And again, can't see anything without disabling the CSS.

@tinker@infosec.exchange I don't like google, but for a non-profit media org I'm involve in, it was the easy way to get 1) federated auth for our self-hosted services, 2) data governance for docs/drive, and 3) strong 2fa while still getting working email on our own domain. I don't like google, but it checked all the boxes we needed and was free.

@Daojoan@mastodon.social as someone in Higher Ed, I see this play over and over again. Someone decides to buy a product and then comes to IT saying "we paid for this, make it work"... Making it work is not our job, and the product wouldn't pass any actual review process for normal purchasing, but the Vice President who made the decision overrode all process. "Make it work".

We also redirected our canvas vanity URL to our helpdesk status page for much of the duration of the outage.

@polpo I remember a decade ago looking for a drive emulator for floppy controllers, and realizing *everything* in that space was targeted at industrial users. So cool that these are affordable and useful for normal people.

@SwiftOnSecurity@infosec.exchange my best argument for this---besides it being low-tech and physical security considerations being moot: when you die, someone can get into your accounts this way. Which for older and less tech-savvy people is actually really helpful.
