Funny, I went on linkedin to share my blog post about how careful engineering doubled my client's userbase, only to be confronted with LinkedIn posts about how engineers need to stop being babies and realise business only cares about features, not quality.

It was pretty scary heading into this Scottish election but it is turning out pretty good for the left. Expecting gains for the most left-wing party, the Greens, and I think it's a leftward shift in the ruling social democratic SNP group. Scottish right have shifted fascist which is terrifying.

McLaughlin says cycling is basically free for the individual but requires infrastructure spend by government. Talks again about linking it up to public transport to get people out of their cars.

GoBike question: how will you resource councils to deliver projects? Clark talks about Transport Scotland funds and the existence of the block grant to councils. Dalton asks about ring-fencing and Clark seems more confident on that and supports it.
