@aspeed@lgbtqia.space from what I understand it depends on the architecture, much easier to get Linux running on an x86 Chromebook than an ARM Chromebook. That was at least the state of things last time I checked, friend had an ARM Chromebook and after suffering for a bit we decided even if we did get it right the old emmc storage was so slow and unworkable that it wasn't worth it.
