@d1@autistics.life well I am a noob, so I am not sure what you meant 😉. It does run on Debian. And I was able to connect it to a screen yesterday. It was booting in maintenance mode. Not sure if it was due to firmware incompatibility (old Mac mini), or an no existant drive listed in fstab. All good now though.

@macer@his.macer.life well I was able to reach my router and see the server (old repurposed mac mini on Debian) did startup, but I don’t see a way to ssh into it. Tailscale subnet cannot reach it. I can switch it on and off from afar (connected plug) but it somehow get stuck. I’ll deal with it when I get home.

@elena the page was hard to load at first but now it seems to work fine. I load it in my Mastodon client, the safari (slow on both at first then fast) and tried again in Firefox to make sure it wasn’t cached locally.

@gbarbey@tooting.ch Bravo! J’apprécie le fait que vous ayez d’abord commencé à construire votre réseau « hors Gafam » Avec la @2bcompany@mastodon.social , nous sommes partis sur un coup de tête. Nous aurions gagné à rester un peu plus sur ces plateformes, afin que nos « followers » ne soient pas perdus et nous suivent. Au bout d’un an, le constat est toutefois positif. Notre newsletter est très suivie, et Mastodon permet de donner un reflet plus humain de nos activités. Toutefois, votre démarche est celle à conseiller.

La plupart de nos interlocuteurices semblaient jusqu'à maintenant effrayé·es par la complexité, le choix de serveur, etc. Vous accepteriez des compagnies de théâtre suisses (francophone) ? Ou est-ce réservé aux structures françaises ?

@_elena et pour moi plus personnellement, c'est aussi de retrouver un réseau à l'ancienne, où l'on peut rencontrer (presque) réellement des gens, communiquer, échanger, sans se voir balancer des publications commerciales à tout bout de champ.

@_elena Pour nous ( @2bcompany ), c'est le moyen de donner une image plus vivante de nos activités (théâtre contemporain), sans passer par les réseaux commerciaux quittés début 25. Nos graphistes et webmestres (Atelier Poisson et Lionel Tardy à Lausanne) on pu (je crois relativement facilement), intégrer nos publications sur notre homepage 2bcompany.ch
