Life is only very, very, very minimally slightly tough right now but that's normal and I'm actually doing really well right now, considering the major change I'm going through. Why must this occur?

Hmm, strange.
Maybe I have gotten used to dissociation or something, or maybe I have become more emotionally mature? But whenever I'm feeling a certain type of way, it's like I can suddenly observe my mental health and emotions from a third person perspective.
It's not like I can stop mental breakdowns when they come, but as they happen, a part of me goes "oh no... that is not good... you should stop... oh, you're not stopping... dammit".
Right now, I can feel myself be sad and step away and wonder why and how, and realize I'm not sad but I seem to feel like it. I feel the sinking feeling in my gut, but it shouldn't be there.

I swear if AI was actually ethical, and used for the right things, I would've been one of the biggest AI nerds in fedi.
Linguistics and computers, in a single field? I would've looooved it.
Hell, learning about the tech behind AI (simple markov chains, the basics of how voice recognition works with formants and stuff) is already super cool.
helping a classmate figure out some conditionals in flowcharts, without directly giving an answer (I hope I don't look passive-aggressive)
they finally figured it out and honestly, it's that beautiful satisfaction after hours of stress that makes me love programming so much and I love seeing it in others as well
the more I make this markov bot in python, the more I wish I did it in some compiled language instead
python is slow...
