Driving through the Vosges in the Capri blue Lancia Beta coupé, the car my dad still quietly loves. The roads wrap themselves around the mountains and pour into the valleys. Dad loves the hairpins, sunroof adjar, windows open. It's a coupe, I am in the back, and can't see through the windows. My carsickness is terrible. Dad's solution is to put me in front and mum in the back. I get to put The Eurythmics cassette in the tapedeck! The sun beams as 'Love Is A Stranger' starts playing. Dad smiles.
I am wrestling with the fact that yesterday, during a race, I was one of those assholes that elbowed himself ahead of competitors. It was because of the track, the crowd, unforeseen obstacles, but still I hate myself for it. Others were rightfully angry, but I can't apologize to them, as I will never be able to find them. Sometimes I am deeply uncomfortable with the human condition, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be. #slightly #depressed #overthinking

Zwarte piet is zwart, de VOC was innovatieve Nederlandse handelsgeest in actie, iedereen deed slavernij en zo erg hadden ze het niet, Indonesië had het beter toen ze bij ons hoorden, arbeidsmigranten zouden naar huis gaan, gas is mooi, turf ook, Nederlands cultuurlandschap is open met Engels raaigras zonder sloten en zonder ganzen. Dat is echte Nederlandse cultuur!

@erikcats@dice.camp @Cayenne@theforkiverse.com Ik vind het ook bijzonder hoe Nederlanders Trump kunnen aanhangen, terwijl er geen enkele vergelijking opgaat met de Nederlandse realiteit. De teloorgang van de Nederlandse cultuur is ook een prachtige, want niemand heeft me ooit kunnen vertellen wat dat dan is. Zijn ook vaak mensen die me weinig kunnen vertellen over NLse geschiedenis of kunst/cultuur. Ik merk dat ik er heel moe van word. Het hele "iedereen weet toch dat..." gelul. Wil ook weer graag terug naar 't Noord'n
