I have personally said the same to a well-known creator of activist guides in person, and his response was "I don't care, it's still got good defaults for the average person."
All of computing is built entirely around trust. Is it going to tell me 2+2=4, or will the AI system misidentify the brown person and bring violence down on innocents?
