I'm grateful for the enlightenment. But also a little terrified to be vilified for having a difficult life which doesn't allow me to bump into information such as this very often. I know it's exhausting and easily exploited, but the benefit of the doubt is necessary to actually grow the numbers of informed allies. Dismissal is righteous but unproductive.

@bitprophet@social.coop SingleFile is a browser extension. Works on at least Firefox mobile (haven't tested others). Saves the entire web page as a single .html file with images etc. embedded. Default is to save to your Downloads folder, but can be configured to send to an API, which is how it gets into my LinkWarden. Highly recommended utility, even just for SingleHuman use.

@bitprophet@social.coop I should perhaps add that I had a bespoke storage / organization system built with just SingleFile that served my needs just fine. LinkWarden is entirely unnecessary. I mainly installed it as a (failed) experiment to get my wife on board, and then it was extra work to move back.

@bitprophet@social.coop I use SingleFile -> LinkWarden. If I want to share with someone I can just send them the file or upload it to a temporary URL. I don't have a use case where I want / need to share my entire personal archive. If I did, it would require login.
